CENTER OF EXCELLENCE EACEA 2024-2027

The Center for Studies in European and International Affairs (CSEIA) was recently recognized as a “Center of Excellence” by EACEA (the European Commission's Education and Culture Executive Agency) for the three-year period 2024-2027, thanks to an interdisciplinary project on food security (FOSTER - “Food Security Team of Early-career Researchers”).

Established in 2016 by the University of Parma with the participation of the European College of Parma Foundation, and partially renewed in 2019, CSEIA is a Research Center, which aims to enhance the internationalization activities of the University and the European College. The Center mainly carries out research activities on issues of European and international relevance, according to an interdisciplinary and interdepartmental approach, and is committed to disseminating their results through the organization of seminars and conferences, as well as through the publication and presentation of scientific and popular works.

In addition, the Center carries out advice and teaching support activities in the areas of its competence, presenting itself as a scientific reality of excellence and a privileged interlocutor with other research bodies, public or private, European and international institutions, and the business world.
